About the Company:
Cavendish Maine Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing top talent within the building products sector. We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our client's senior management team and drive business growth.
About the Role:
This is a critical position that will play a key role in the company's sustainable growth and success over the next decade. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading a quickly developing team, coaching individuals to achieve their full potential, and setting objectives and targets. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large sales team, developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, and building strong personal relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and feedback to ensure they meet their targets.
- Planning: Work with the Managing Director and sales team to establish trading plans and forecasts to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market analysis and research to better understand the markets and competitors, and develop a long-term sales and marketing strategy.
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the Head of Product to develop a range of products that meet customer needs.
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a large sales team, delivering strategic sales and marketing plans, and building strong relationships with key accounts. Experience in the commercial interiors sector is highly desirable.
