We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical and Hybrid Vehicle Control Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing software systems for the vehicle control system and drivers display.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Support the design of electrical hardware systems for chassis, powertrain, and body systems for diesel, hybrid (HEV), and electric (EV) vehicle platforms.
  • Design of control systems for chassis, powertrain, and body systems for diesel, hybrid (HEV), and electric (EV) vehicle platforms.
  • Design and development of CAN communications systems and architecture.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and hybrid vehicle control systems, as well as experience with MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools.

Requirements
  • BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering or related subject.
  • Knowledge of Electric and Hybrid Vehicle control systems.
  • Specialist knowledge/skills in Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools.
