Job Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Control Systems Engineer to design and develop software systems for vehicle control and driver displays. As part of our team at Wrightbus, you will design control systems for chassis, powertrain, and body systems for diesel, hybrid (HEV), and electric (EV) vehicle platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop program code for vehicle display systems.
  • Design and develop CAN communications systems and architecture.
  • Support vehicle testing and validation of systems and components.
  • Provide technical documentation and support for vehicle control systems.
Requirements:
  • BEng (Hons) level or BSc (Hons) in Software Engineering or related subject.
  • Knowledge of Electric and Hybrid Vehicle control systems.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum
