Job Description

This role involves designing software systems for vehicle control and drivers' displays, ensuring seamless integration of vehicle chassis, powertrain, and body systems into the overall vehicle control strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing PLC-based programs for vehicle primary control systems.
  • Ensuring software meets specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborating with third-party system suppliers to specify software and parameters that meet requirements.

Salary: £65,000 per annum

Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • proven experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • strong knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
