Job Overview
Wrightbus is a leading manufacturer of electric and hybrid vehicles, seeking an experienced Vehicle Control Systems Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and integrating control systems into vehicle platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled engineer to work closely with hardware and software teams, developing and implementing control systems for electric and hybrid vehicles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools, as well as experience with traction battery control systems, chassis powertrain, and driveline systems.

Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Control Systems Expert, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing control systems for electric and hybrid vehicles
- Integrating control systems into vehicle platforms, working closely with hardware and software teams
- Developing and implementing test plans for vehicle commissioning, testing, and data logging
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BEng (hons) or BSc (hons) in Software Engineering or a related subject
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools
- Experience with traction battery control systems, chassis powertrain, and driveline systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
