About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrical Systems Expert to join our team at Wrightbus. As an Electrician Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and testing chassis and body electrical control systems according to customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Installation of vehicle electrical control systems according to specification requirements.
  • Maintenance of compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Testing and commissioning of the vehicle electrical system according to Quality Assurance documentation.
  • Modification of vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in contract build documentation.
  • Termination of automotive and high-voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC.
  • Fault-finding and repair of the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software.
  • Completion of installations within allocated process time.
  • Adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Undertaking of training or retraining as required, including the training of others.
Additional Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

Time-served automotive, domestic, or industrial electrician

Demonstrate capability to work on systems up to 600V AC or DC.

Capable of reading wiring diagrams.

Demonstrate experience of routing and connection of various cable types.

Skillset:

Basic knowledge of fault-finding techniques.

Personal Qualities:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Remuneration: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.
