Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Wrightbus.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and testing of chassis and body electrical control systems, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Ensuring work meets Wrightbus' quality standard
- Installation and modification of vehicle wiring harnesses and components
- Termination of automotive and high-voltage connections
- Test and commissioning of vehicle electrical systems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Time-served experience as an automotive, domestic or industrial electrician
- Capability to work on systems up to 600V AC or DC
- Basic fault-finding techniques
- Good interpersonal skills
This is a full-time position, requiring occasional stays away from home. You must be willing to work overtime and adapt to changing shift patterns.
A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this exciting opportunity.
