Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical and Hybrid Vehicle Engineer to join our team at Wrightbus. As an electrical and hybrid vehicle engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of control systems for our vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and integrate control systems into vehicle platforms, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

Responsibilities
As an Electrical and Hybrid Vehicle Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing control systems for electric and hybrid vehicles
- Integrating control systems into vehicle platforms, working closely with hardware and software teams
- Developing and implementing test plans for vehicle commissioning, testing, and data logging
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A BEng (hons) or BSc (hons) in Software Engineering or a related subject
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, LabVIEW, and other relevant software tools
- Experience with traction battery control systems, chassis powertrain, and driveline systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.
