Learning Support Assistant for Children

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. As a key member of our education support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to designated pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.
The successful candidate will establish a warm and supportive relationship with the pupils, manage challenging behaviour effectively, and contribute to a safe and secure learning environment. This involves collaborating with teachers to provide a seamless education experience, delivering 1:1 and small group support, and managing pastoral and general teaching duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Position Details:
Location: Lancaster
Position Type: Full-time Learning Support Assistant
Duration: Long-term, Ongoing
Pay Rate: £90 per day (minimum)
Estimated Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per year based on full-time hours.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
- Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
