Job Title: Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at TRC Yorkshire. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Registered Manager in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and social care setting, with at least 2 years' relevant experience in an operational management capacity. You will have experience of working in/managing a domiciliary service, managing an effective team, and have a knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain an effective quality assurance programme to promote high-quality, best practice, and continuous improvement of services.
  • Work in close partnership with the Registered Manager to ensure that services delivered across all day-to-day aspects of operations are of a consistently high standard.
  • Manage an effective team, providing advice and guidance outside of normal office hours as required.
  • Develop and promote positive working relationships with individual service users, their family, and professional colleagues.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 4 in Leadership & Management or the equivalent (or willingness to work towards the new diploma).
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise work.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and a positive attitude to change.
