Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
- Implement and maintain an effective quality assurance program to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Manage day-to-day operations and ensure that services are delivered to a consistently high standard.
- Lead and manage a team of care professionals to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that care services are integrated with other services and support packages.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a health and social care setting.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting.
- Experience of working in/managing a domiciliary service.
- Experience of managing an effective team.
- Knowledge and understanding of the current legal responsibilities and standards of the service.
- Full driving license with use of own vehicle.
- Ability to provide advice and guidance outside of normal office hours as required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to deal effectively with crises and emergencies.
- IT literate, including basic Excel.
- Ability to work as part of a team and motivate others to meet deadlines.
- Ability to recognize and develop additional opportunities for the service and the people using it.
- Ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with individual service users, their family, and professional colleagues.
