About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Pan Pacific London Hotel Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor food preparation and portion sizes, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes and hotel standards.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies, checking deliveries, and ensuring proper storage.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure that ingredients are fresh and available as needed.
  • Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the hotel's standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues alike, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or other management staff.
