This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our EMEA Infrastructure-Development team as an Environmental Permitting Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering environmental permitting projects, including IED permits, environmental assessment, and environmental inputs to planning applications.

The successful candidate will have experience in EU permit evaluations and applications, Environmental Impact Assessments, biodiversity integration, water discharge requirements, and waste management. Experience of environmental permitting in France and Germany is also highly advantageous.

Based in London or Frankfurt, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in environmental permitting, while working for a dynamic and innovative company like Amazon Web Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver environmental permitting projects, including IED permits, environmental assessment, and environmental inputs to planning applications
  • Lead on multiple regions and sites in development, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work closely with our real estate, due diligence, and design engineering teams to locate and permit AWS infrastructure in EMEA

Salary

Estimated salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
