Job Overview
Irwin & Colton Limited is seeking an experienced professional in environmental permits to support our team over the next six months. As a Permitting and Compliance Expert, you will work primarily from home with occasional site travel, mainly in the Midlands.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of environmental permitting applications and amendments, as well as excellent knowledge of UK and European environmental legislation, guidance, and standards. You will manage the delivery of supporting environmental assessments within your own team and across the wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure delivery of environmental permitting applications and amendments to site operating permits in compliance with the latest legislation and regulations.
* Develop and implement management plans, systems, and mitigation measures for clients on their environmental permit applications and permit compliance.

Requirements
* Degree in an Environmental, Engineering, or Science-based discipline.
* Prior experience of working in, or with, industrial sectors.

Salary
Circa £42,500 per annum (dependent on experience), outside IR35.
