Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of EIA and Permitting to lead our environmental solutions team.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of environmental regulations and will be able to provide strategic direction to our team. Key responsibilities include overseeing project development EIA applications, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, optimising sustainability and environmental practices, and improving project environmental outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and industry insights to drive the growth of our environmental approvals business and deliver impactful results across our core sectors - Energy, Water and Communities. Your role will be essential in team growth and performance, technical excellence, client satisfaction, and maintaining high staff engagement levels.

  • Strategic Direction: Provided strategic direction to our team, overseeing project development EIA applications and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Technical Expertise: Served as the technical lead and/or Project Director, overseeing impact assessments, consenting, and environmental permitting.
  • Leadership: Led the identification and pursuit of strategic bidding opportunities for EIA and environmental permitting services, thus strengthening our team capabilities and enabling growth of both our project pipeline and backlog.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
