Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Marine Renewable Energy Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the marine renewables and infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to consenting, permitting, and general EIA support for our clients in the offshore wind and subsea cable sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of high-quality project management and coordination with technically-focused employees to deliver reports and studies to clients;
  • Detailed interaction with key clients on all aspects of project delivery, including technical outputs, programme, risk, and budget;
  • Management of external subcontractors and associates contributing to marine project delivery;
  • Overall responsibility for leading and managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications;
  • Line management of up to five individuals, including Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of the EIA and consenting process for at least one major marine development sector in the UK;
  • Business development experience via client relationship management and/or leading on bid preparation;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organisational, and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team as/when required.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working, 25 days annual leave, 6% pension contribution, EV car salary sacrifice scheme, twice annual promotion opportunities, and more.
