Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced consultant with a detailed knowledge of the EIA process on major energy infrastructure projects. Ideally, you will have direct experience in the offshore renewables sector, but applicants with experience working in other offshore industries or onshore energy infrastructure projects are also welcome.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing EIA projects, including leading technical reviews and ensuring high-quality reporting. You will also be responsible for guiding clients through the complexities of marine consenting and environmental assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate EIAs for major offshore wind and renewable energy projects
  • Manage marine consents and ensure regulatory compliance throughout project delivery
  • Conduct technical reviews and ensure high-quality reporting
  • Guide clients through the complexities of marine consenting and environmental assessments
  • Mentor and support junior staff, helping them develop their skills and expertise
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of the EIA process on major energy infrastructure projects
  • Experience of working in a consultancy environment, including experience of managing EIA projects
  • Experience in working as part of a team, including liaising with other technical specialists
  • Experience in working with environmental stakeholders, including regulators and nature conservation bodies
