Community Support Worker

We are seeking a volunteer to support our Sue Ryder team in Macclesfield. This role involves assisting with daily tasks, including receiving donations, sorting stock, and greeting customers.
Key Tasks- Receiving and processing donations, including furniture items
- Sorting and labeling stock to prepare it for sale
- Greeting and assisting customers, providing excellent customer service
- Cleaning and maintaining the shop to ensure a pleasant shopping experience
- Able to follow instructions and learn new skills quickly
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture
- Pleasant communication skills and ability to engage with customers
- Making new friends and being part of a local community
- Flexible working hours and a supportive team
- Discount on donated goods and travel expenses reimbursed
