At Cheshire East Council, we are recruiting for 5 x Permanent Grade.4 Community Support Worker (Supported Living) roles to support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently in their own homes.

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing individualised and person-centred care and support to enable individuals to lead fulfilled lives, participate in their local community, and maintain tenancy agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximising people's independence, choice and control
  • Providing support with medication, money management and daily living activities
  • Working in partnership with individuals, families and other services

We are looking for individuals with the right values, a friendly and positive approach, who are flexible, reliable and committed to delivering a high standard of support.

The roles involve working various shift patterns including days and evenings, bank holidays, and every other weekend on a rota basis. A sleep-in is available for those who wish to be on the rota.

The starting pay for this role is £12.18 per hour, rising to £12.38 with time and a half at weekends and all Bank Holidays except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which are double pay.
