About the Role

We are seeking two lay Trustees who share our passion for mental health service provision and public protection to join our Board of Trustees. As a charity Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation remains committed to its charitable objectives.

With our upcoming three-year strategy 'psychotherapy in a changing world' set to launch, we need your expertise to help us craft an achievable delivery plan. This will include developing the member experience, conducting a governance review, and preparing for new employment rights legislation.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of charitable funds, promoting excellent stewardship of resources, and driving forward our public relations initiatives. Your background in corporate governance, employment law, or PR would be highly valuable in supporting the Board and executive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of financial management and strategic planning
  • Contributing to the development of organisational policies and procedures
  • Ensuring effective communication with members, stakeholders, and the public

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles
  • Experience in employment law or PR would be advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team

What We Offer:
