About the Role

Park Lane Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionate receptionist to provide exceptional patient care and support to our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage appointment bookings, ensuring seamless communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Process prescriptions, letters, and other documents with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Respond to patient inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Register new patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed correctly.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing clear and concise information to patients and staff.
About the Candidate

We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a polite and discreet telephone manner, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong IT and administration skills, with experience working with the general public and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues, as needed.
