About the Role

Park Lane Surgery is seeking a skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our front-line team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Greet and direct patients in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Manage appointment bookings and ensure accurate records.
  • Process prescriptions, letters, and other documents with attention to detail.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Register new patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and efficiently.
About the Candidate

We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the general public, be sensitive to patient needs, and possess strong IT and administration skills.

Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a confidential and discreet manner.
  • Experience working with the general public and handling sensitive situations.
  • Strong IT and administration skills.
  • Previous medical or healthcare receptionist experience is desirable.
