About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism, mental health issues, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication administration, and household management.
  • Support individuals in the community, engaging in activities such as bike rides, walks, and shopping.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Manual driving license (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and understanding of individuals with autism and other disabilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
