Residential Maintenance Service Engineer

**Job Description:**
We are looking for a highly skilled Residential Maintenance Service Engineer to join our team at Resourcing Group.
About You:
You will be responsible for providing high-quality residential maintenance services to clients in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out a range of residential maintenance tasks, including patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, and painting and decorating.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to client specifications and health and safety regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and monitoring of equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
- Respond to client queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during service visits.
- Maintain accurate records of work and service visits, using handheld technology.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 2/3 City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in relevant trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing).
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance, retail, or construction environment.
- Full driving licence essential for this mobile role.
- IT literate for record-keeping and communication purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Physically fit to carry out the duties of the role.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus company vehicle for personal use and other benefits.
