Job Description

CBRE Local UK is seeking a talented Engineering and Maintenance Services Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the Engineering Team, Reactive and Planned Maintenance and associated functions.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for line management responsibility for the Engineering Team and/or Operational Support Team, including statutory compliance and planned & reactive maintenance. They will also oversee and manage all aspects of HR and recruitment pertaining to the Engineering and/or Operational Support Team Employees and Vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Line Management: Line management responsibility for the Engineering Team and/or Operational Support Team.
  • HR and Recruitment: Oversee and manage all aspects of HR and recruitment pertaining to the Engineering and/or Operational Support Team Employees and Vacancies.
  • Operational Delivery: Ensure that SLAs and KPIs are achieved for operational delivery for both Reactive and Planned Maintenance activities.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain, including sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Manage and submit monthly reports and compliance information to the Account Manager/Director.
About You

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding and experience of a technical discipline in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing or Heating and Ventilation systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar management position, with healthcare and HTM experience being advantageous.

A minimum requirement for C&G Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical discipline qualification is essential, with BOAS Cat 2 Qualification being advantageous. The ability to lead from the front in times of critical events on site is also crucial.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
