About the Role

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Cambridge. This exciting opportunity involves working for an established FM service provider at a hospital site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks, including monitoring plant, pumps, motors, seals, bearings, air conditioning systems, water treatment, plumbing, and basic electrical duties.
  • Escort specialist subcontractors and work collaboratively with the on-site maintenance team.
Working Hours and Overtime
  • Monday to Friday earlies and lates (07:00-15:00, 14:00-22:00).
  • Overtime opportunities available.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Mechanical qualifications (NVQ or City & Guilds) and relevant trade certificates.
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled and able to gain Enhanced DBS clearance.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and be willing to work flexibly. A competitive salary of £44,500 per annum reflects the importance of this role in maintaining the hospital's facilities.
