Business Development Manager

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team at Mane Contract Services in Newport, Wales.
This is a unique chance to take on a senior leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our company. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function and driving business growth through effective commercial strategies and practices.
You will be accountable for delivering high-quality commercial outcomes, ensuring that all commercial aspects of projects are managed effectively, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
A salary of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience, is available for the right candidate. We also offer a range of benefits, including accommodation, rotation, travel, and bonus opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial function and drive business growth through effective commercial strategies and practices
- Deliver high-quality commercial outcomes and manage the commercial lifecycle of projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance commercial performance
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in a commercial role with construction contractors
- Qualified in Quantity Surveying and ideally chartered or working towards same
- Proven track record of driving business growth and improving commercial performance
