Technical Director (MEP) - Healthcare Sector

Ramboll is seeking a seasoned Technical Director (MEP) to support the growth of our Healthcare division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects in the Healthcare sector at a national and international level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead large multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver healthcare projects
  • Influence the continued evolvement of Ramboll's technical delivery teams, with emphasis on innovation, digital advances, project delivery, sustainable design, low energy / zero carbon design, and post occupancy client care
  • Take ownership of the implementation and delivery of projects in line with the contractual arrangements and the financial outcome agreed
  • Coordinating with resource leaders across the organisation to ensure that appropriate resources and expertise are made available
  • Working with our key clients to maintain and develop excellent professional relationships which will enhance securing repeat business from our key clients
Requirements:
  • Academic degree or equivalent experience
  • Professional membership of relevant institution
  • A background in either Consultancy or Contracting delivering MEP advisory and design consultancy services for major healthcare projects
  • Proven and demonstrable experience and technical excellence in your discipline / area of expertise
  • Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Sound commercial experience and judgement
  • A client centric approach
  • Ability to motivate a team and demonstrate good leadership qualities
  • Technical leadership
  • Ability to contribute to business strategy for growth and expansion
  • Demonstrable appreciation of sustainable design
