Job Title: Bank Hotel General Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible General Assistant to join our team at Foxes Academy, a specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our hotel business, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, and delivering exceptional customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students while on duty, adhering to Company policies on Food Hygiene, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH.
  • Attend meetings as required and take direction from the Hotel Manager and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Deliver high standards of customer care, completing cleaning and preparation tasks to support business needs.
  • Support with clearing and cleaning of still room, toilets, bedrooms, and laundry tasks, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Cover reception duties, including taking phone calls, bookings, and payments, in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Hotel experience in all departments and a positive team player.
  • City and Guilds Hospitality and Catering Level 2 or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year's reception experience.
  • Experience of working in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Housekeeping experience.
  • Experience of working in a team setting.
  • Food Hygiene certificate (desirable).
  • Allergen's course (desirable).
  • Working with young vulnerable adults or children (desirable).
