About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at A Wilderness Way. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential settings.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be the lead practitioner on shift, mentoring and supporting new team members, and drawing upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise. You will work collaboratively with our education, therapy, and outdoor teams, as well as colleagues from the wider sector, keeping the children at the heart of all you do.

Key Qualities

We are looking for individuals who have achieved their Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce. Ideally, you will have experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour. You will have a passion for helping children and the skills and personal qualities to lead others.

What We Offer

We offer a great work-life balance with our condensed working rota and sleep-ins. Shifts start between 8am and 9am.
