As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be the lead practitioner on shift, mentoring, supporting and coaching new team members and drawing upon your extensive experience to manage any challenges that may arise.

Our homes operate on a ratio of 2:1, and you will work collaboratively with our education, therapy and outdoor teams as well as colleagues from the wider sector, keeping the children at the heart of all you do.

You will have the support of a dedicated, compassionate, like-minded team, who are all committed to the achievement and wellbeing of both our children and everyone in the AWW community.

Key qualities that we look for:

You will already have achieved your Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People's Workforce. Ideally you will have experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or have worked in a similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.

This role offers a great work-life balance with our condensed working rota and sleep-ins, shifts start between 8am and 9am.

Our Senior Residential Support Workers go above and beyond to help children who have experienced a difficult past to forge positive pathways towards a brighter future.
