Maximus is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping customers navigate the benefits system by conducting comprehensive assessments and producing detailed reports.



About the Role

You will work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions, using your compassion and experience to help customers move forward with their lives.



Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct thorough assessments of customers' disabilities or health conditions to understand their impact on daily life
  • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of clinical conditions, including chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions
  • Produce high-quality, detailed reports that support customers' claims for benefits
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services


Requirements



  • Valid HCPC registration number
  • At least one year of post-registration experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
