Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Acute Medicine and Oncology team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our diverse patient caseload.

Main Duties

Key responsibilities include supporting the coordination of acute rehabilitation for complex patients, maintaining optimum patient flow, and making well-reasoned decisions about patient pathways. You will work autonomously, with access to senior physiotherapist advice and support as needed.

Person Specification

  • Confident and able to take appropriate responsibilities
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Able to work flexibly responding to the needs of the service

Essential Requirements

  • Reliable work record
  • Moving and handling patient and equipment is a requirement of this post

Qualifications

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Health Professions Council Registration

Desirable Requirements

  • Member CSP

Experience

  • Being Respiratory competent
  • Knowledge and experience in a range of approaches to the management of patients in this area of practice
  • Post graduate clinical experience including relevant core area and relevant specialist rotations
