Senior Specialist Physiotherapist

Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team providing life-changing support to individuals with acquired brain injuries.
About the RoleAs a Senior Specialist Physiotherapist, you will work autonomously within a multi-disciplinary team, providing specialist neurorehabilitation services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive neurological assessments and creating tailored treatment plans.
- Delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, adjusting as needed based on individual progress and team discussions.
- Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, ensuring physiotherapy input aligns with service goals.
- Providing specialist advice and engaging in problem-solving within your clinical area of expertise.
- Safely managing challenging behaviours, including physical aggression, mental health disorders, and more.
- Identifying and managing physiotherapy equipment and devices, referring to other services where necessary.
- Recording and tracking treatment outcomes, ensuring accurate data entry into standardised systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Experience in neurorehabilitation or related fields (e.g., learning disabilities, mental health, MSK).
- The ability to perform complex neurophysiotherapy assessments and develop specialist treatment plans.
- A strong commitment to professional development and evidence of continued learning.
- Knowledge of clinical governance principles.
