About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Development Advisor to join our global Business Development team. This role will focus on the profitable development and growth of clients driven by industry and practice lines in the UK and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management and planning skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work strategically and pragmatically. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with change, and have a creative approach to meeting challenges and opportunities.

The Client Development Advisor will work closely with key product lines within the UK insurance practice to influence and advise them on their BD activities and client development opportunities. They will also be required to work closely with global BD colleagues and some global partners to ensure BD activity is streamlined and joined-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account manage various significant client relationships and help to shape and implement a tailored CRM programme.
  • Work with the Marketing Communications team to ensure BD and marketing plans and initiatives are delivered in a planned, professional and proactive way.
  • Proactively track and target revenue and client relationships through analysing financial, matter and relationship data.
  • Work with key product lines on developing targeted client development programmes for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Attend practice/industry group meetings to give account of business development activity across the firm.
