Student Experience Officer Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Student Experience Officer to join our client, a prestigious London university. This is a temporary, full-time position with an immediate start for four months, offering a hybrid working structure of a minimum of two days on campus and three days from home, with some evening work to support events.
As a Student Experience Officer, you will become an integral part of the Student Experience & Support team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organising and delivering large-scale community events, such as quiz nights, a ball, and other social activities and events.
- Supporting the student mentoring programme and engaging with student societies, highlighting and celebrating student achievements.
- Attending committee meetings and forums as requested, representing the Student Experience team.
- Assisting with administrative duties, including assisting with the organisation of rotas, absence, and performance for Student Receptionists.
Key Requirements
- Strong administrative experience in an educational setting and an understanding of the student lifecycle.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
- Personable and proactive, with innovative thinking and the ability to work calmly in a busy environment with good time management.
- Highly proficient in IT skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and event management platforms/software.
