Senior Travelling Housekeeper

Marcilly Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Travelling Housekeeper to join their esteemed client's household in Belgravia. This live-out role based in London will require the successful candidate to travel extensively with the principals, setting up residences and ensuring the smooth running of their properties internationally.

The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of eight years' experience in a housekeeping role, working with UHNWs in private households or superyacht settings. They should be able to provide written and verbal references for all previous positions, demonstrating longevity and exceptional performance.

A competitive salary of £50,000-£65,000 per annum is offered, along with an annual discretionary bonus and pension through PAYE. The position requires flexibility, with occasional changes in days and hours, as well as the ability to travel within Europe and the US for up to six months of the year.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of residences throughout the day.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high standards, with attention to detail in all aspects of household management.
  • Managing laundry, ironing, and cleaning duties, including daily tasks and bi-weekly changes of bedding.
  • Caring for luxury wardrobes, including washing, ironing, and steaming, as well as coordinating dry cleaning and other errands.
  • Polishing furniture, art, china, collectibles, crystal, and silver, and maintaining a constant supply of household essentials.
  • Assisting with luggage, packing, and unpacking for journeys, as well as shopping and ad hoc errands as required.
