About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to lead our Skincare team in creating innovative and sustainable products that meet the needs of our environmentally conscious consumers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product development strategy that aligns with our brand's ethos of natural and ethical beauty solutions.
  • Innovative Formulations: Create fresh and effective skincare products that meet the latest market trends and consumer needs.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with marketing, design, production, and packaging teams to ensure a seamless development process.
  • Market Insight: Conduct comprehensive research on current trends, consumer needs, and ingredient innovations to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring all aspects from design to delivery meet our high standards and timelines.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage costs, profitability, and analyze sales data to inform product development decisions.
  • Content Development: Contribute to creating engaging content, training materials, and promotional strategies to highlight the unique qualities of our products.
Requirements
  • Creative Innovator: Passionate about skincare and beauty, with a keen interest in sustainable and natural product development.
  • Experienced NPD Skincare Specialist: Proven NPD experience in managing an extensive skincare category.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record in skincare product development, with comprehensive knowledge of formulation and market trends.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements in skincare and cosmetics.
  • Exceptional Organiser: Outstanding organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication abilities to work effectively across various departments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
