National Learning and Development Strategist

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Learning and Development Manager to lead our learning and development initiatives nationwide. This exciting opportunity is focused on driving organisational success through the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development programmes.
- Develop and execute a national Learning and Development strategy that aligns with our organisational goals.
- Manage and deploy our Learning Management System (Cornerstone), ensuring it is utilised effectively across the business.
- Programme Delivery:
- Design and deliver various training programmes, including workshops, e-learning, and leadership development.
- Conduct training needs assessments and develop strategies for workforce development and succession planning.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and department heads to identify skill gaps and align training with business objectives.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and develop a team of learning and development professionals, including managing the Learning and Skills Project Lead.
- Work with external providers to deliver apprenticeship schemes and drive the utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Evaluation and Improvement:
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, continuously striving for improvement.
This role requires a strong understanding of L&D strategies, methodologies, and tools, with experience managing an LMS, preferably Cornerstone. You will also possess excellent leadership, project management, and team management skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
