About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a vibrant school in Wimborne.

This role involves working closely with teachers, educational psychologists, and other professionals to provide individualised support, helping students navigate both academic and social challenges.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar support role, preferably with children with autism or special educational needs, and a strong understanding of ASC and strategies to support children with additional needs.

Responsibilities include providing direct support to students, implementing individualised learning and behavioural strategies, assisting in classroom management, and liaising with teaching staff and other professionals to support students' educational progress.

A commitment to safeguarding and child protection is essential.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual who can make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.

Salary: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (dependent on experience).
