Salary
The salary for this role is estimated at £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive rate that reflects the importance of this role in supporting individuals with complex needs. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive generous benefits, including annual leave entitlement, enhanced maternity pay, and occupational sick pay.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker and make a real difference in the lives of our clients. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live independently and achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication management.
- Assisting clients with their hobbies and interests, such as arts and crafts, cooking, and swimming.
- Helping clients to access employment opportunities and further their independent living skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social Care or similar.
- Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, either in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
