Customer Service Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Metro Bank. As a Contact Centre Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fantastic service and support to our customers, responding to their queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Be a representative of the Metro Bank brand and its culture, embodying our values and principles in all interactions.
- Advise customers on various queries, including balance enquiries, payments, internet banking, card management, and mobile app usage.
- Update all systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in recording conversations and maintaining customer records.
- Follow correct processes to ensure customer safety and security.
Requirements:
- Ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.
- Profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and Metro Bank's customers.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment.
Working Arrangements & Training:
We require flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm/10am to 6pm, as well as various shift patterns over the weekend. Shifts may start at or latest across the 7 working days to support out-of-hours.
We will provide comprehensive training, including live team sessions, self-study, and on-the-job training, to ensure your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with two days in the office for those working four or more days per week, and one office day for those working three or fewer days per week.
