Front Desk Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Front Desk Support Specialist to join our team at the NHS. This is a full-time position working 25-30 hours per week, with a rotation of morning and afternoon shifts.
This role involves maintaining and monitoring our Practice appointments system, utilizing the care navigation pathway to ensure seamless patient care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines, and facilitating effective communication between patients, healthcare teams, and associated agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive image to patients and visitors.
- Undertake administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the Practice, including secretarial and clerical support to clinical staff.
- Facilitate communication between patients, primary healthcare teams, secondary care, and other healthcare agencies.
Requirements:
- Estimated salary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer software and data entry.
