Job Title: Mental Health Psychologist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Principle Clinical Psychologist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at a category C men's prison in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support and oversight to the team, undertaking psychological assessments and delivering training to healthcare and prison staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT) in the form of training
  • Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
  • Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
  • Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required

Requirements:
  • Full HCPC registration
  • Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychology
  • Experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients
  • Experience working with psychological Trauma
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary: £51,300 - £63,300 per annum, depending on experience.
