Kitchen Management Team Deputy Role Overview

As part of our dynamic Food & Beverage Leadership Team at Haven, you will be responsible for supporting the Kitchen Team Manager with the day-to-day operation of our restaurant's kitchen, following standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for all. This role requires a strong focus on performance targets, stock management, and cost control, as well as administrative tasks, such as team rota management, safety checks, and legislative compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Kitchen Team Manager in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Deliver performance targets against budget, managing stock, margin, and cost control to optimize kitchen operations.
- Assist with completing administrative tasks, including team rota management, safety checks, and legislative compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, provide solutions to issues, and set goals for growth in the kitchen team.

Experience and Qualifications

- Proven experience leading large teams in a fast-paced kitchen or similar environment.
- Experience in managing operations, performance, resources, and cost control.
- Ability to confidently deal with guest concerns and resolve problems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong decision-making ability.
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Qualification.
