Deputy Home Manager Opportunity

We are working with a valued client who has an opportunity for a Deputy Home Manager in a private care home in Ayrshire, Scotland. Our client requires a Deputy Home Manager with a valid PIN number, knowledge of National Standards, and NMC code of practice.

The Ideal Candidate

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the level of clinical care offered is exemplary. The care home provides residents with general nursing and dementia care, as well as respite care for both long-term and short-term stays.

You will provide specialist nursing support and advice to the clinical team and take responsibility for the care home in the Manager's absence, supervising and coaching colleagues, and ensuring the care home continues to exceed CQC expectations and standards.

With a background in person-centred care planning within a care home, you will be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. You will ensure the level of clinical care offered goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist nursing support and advice to the clinical team
  • Take responsibility for the care home in the Manager's absence
  • Supervise and coach colleagues
  • Ensure the care home continues to exceed CQC expectations and standards

Requirements

A valid PIN number, knowledge of National Standards, and NMC code of practice are essential for this role. You will also need to have a background in person-centred care planning within a care home.
