Neurodevelopmental Assessment Specialist

Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodevelopmental Assessment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert assessment, therapy, and advice to clients and colleagues, working autonomously within professional guidelines and our policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for children, young people, and families with mental health conditions and/or neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, Systemic, and Psycho-dynamic models.
  • Support adoptive families/families subject to special guardianship orders through therapeutic parenting work, individual therapy, and family interventions.
  • Collaborate with the Child, Young People and Family Service team at Psicon.
  • Assist in the smooth operation of services, including general business activities at Psicon.
  • Pursue opportunities for service development with the management team at Psicon.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as part of a dynamic team. They will maintain high standards of clinical record keeping and adhere to professional codes of practice.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Work Environment: Remote work available; occasional travel required to client locations.
