Job OverviewThis role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Psychologist, working closely with children and young people who require psychological assessment and therapy services. As a key member of the Child, Young People and Family Service at Psicon Ltd, you will contribute to the smooth running of services, including general business operations.
Key Responsibilities- To undertake psychological assessments and formulate treatment plans for children and young people with mental health conditions or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Provide direct psychological interventions, including therapeutic work with children, young people, and their families, using evidence-based models such as CBT and Systemic approaches.
- Support clients with complex presentations, including dual diagnosis, by exercising autonomous professional responsibility for assessment, treatment, and discharge.
- You should have a strong background in clinical psychology and relevant experience working with children and young people with mental health conditions or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with current best practices in the field.
- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
