Job Description: Clinical Psychologist

The successful candidate will provide a specialist psychological assessment and therapy service, working autonomously within professional guidelines. They will offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues and other carers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and treatment of children and young people with mental health conditions and/or neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Carry out therapeutic work using various models, including CBT, Systemic, and Psycho-dynamic.
  • Act as a core member of the Child, Young People and Family Service at Psicon.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of services and consider service development opportunities with the management team.

Requirements:

  • Autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients.
  • Ability to communicate conclusions and recommendations effectively.
  • Capacity to contribute to training initiatives and develop a continued professional development plan.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers an enhanced annual leave scheme, flexible working hours, well-being days, and a pension scheme.
