Support Worker for a Young Adult with Additional Needs

We are seeking a qualified Support Worker to join our team in providing care and support to a young adult with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, dystonia, speech and language delay, psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, and profound deafness in Cambridge.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation
  • Developing and maintaining a positive relationship with the individual
  • Communicating effectively with the individual's healthcare team

Requirements: DBS on the update system or willingness to apply for an enhanced check immediately; up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate; at least 2 years formal experience of working with children of a similar age or a formal childcare qualification

Salary: £13.50 per hour, paid overtime available
